The experience – more than just the product

Running a micro-brand is not only about projects, production, and numbers. Above all, it’s about people and the conversations that accompany the journey from the very beginning.
50 reviews that truly matter
We recently reached 50 reviews on the Trusted Shops platform. At first glance, this might not seem like a significant number, but considering that only around 450 limited watches have been offered so far and that the vast majority of customers don't leave a review, these 50 opinions and comments genuinely matter to me when it comes to building trust.

These are not anonymous star ratings - they are reviews that confirm directly based on the comments, which focus on quality - both of the product and service, were correct and noticed by the clients.
These reviews are available on the website:

The stories behind the watches
I especially appreciate that many of you share not only your thoughts about the watches themselves, but also fragments of your personal stories. It makes me genuinely happy to see how often these reviews mention the shopping experience, not just the product.

Sometimes these stories are strictly watch-related, and sometimes they are personal - about returning to motorcycling after many years, buying a first overlanding vehicle and preparing for an upcoming hiking or fishing trip, or travel plans (where the watch is shipped directly to the hotel where you will be travelling to in the days to come) which somehow intertwine with the Nadir brand along the way.

Messages that give energy
Some messages can truly knock you off your feet - in the best possible way. One of them I’d like to share here:
“I am far from a watch guy. I only own one watch (old Seiko 5) that I haven’t worn for 2 years. Coming up on the big 70th and thought I would treat myself. Your watch really caught my eye via ‘Just The Watch’ YouTube.”
D.Y., Australia
I am genuinely honoured that someone chose my watch as the only second watch in their life, after many years. Messages like this provide enormous motivation to keep going - far more than any statistics ever could.

Direct contact, no middlemen
I personally reply to every message. There is no call centre here, no copy-and-paste templates, and no AI-generated responses. Maybe I'm being nostalgic or overly old-school, but I believe it's important... especially in current "digital" times. Every email or chat is treated individually - just like every watch that leaves the office.

The evening packing ritual
Packing orders has become an evening ritual for me, the last part of the day, preparing the boxes for the courier to pick up the next day. A final quality check, signature on the warranty card, making sure special requests have been fulfilled (an additional or modified strap, a specific serial number, selecting the most accurate piece possible), and occasionally an extra movement check - although with the Miyota Premium series we use, that’s rarely necessary.

In closing, a sincere thank you
Many of these conversations stay with me for a long time. Thank you for every single one - and I’m looking forward to the next. If you ever have questions about products, shipping, or anything else that comes to mind, I’m always available. Feel free to get in touch.
