First time on the other side of the table - Nadir Watches at Aurochronos 2026

First time on the other side of the table - Nadir Watches at Aurochronos 2026

The weekend of May 30-31 was a special one for Nadir Watches. For the first time in the history of the brand, we took part in a watch event as exhibitors at Aurochronos 2026 in Warsaw.

After more than two years of building the brand online, this was an important step: stepping out of the internet and meeting face-to-face with people who follow the brand, wear our watches, or simply came to see what is happening in the world of independent watchmaking.

First event as an exhibitor

Aurochronos turned out to be a great space for this kind of meeting. Over 60 brands gathered in one place - mostly independent projects, microbrands and creators building their watch stories, often from the ground up.

For a young brand like Nadir, this kind of experience is extremely valuable. Showing the watches in person, talking directly with visitors and seeing the first reaction when someone picks up a watch gives a completely different perspective than comments, photos or online messages.

Conversations that give energy

Over two days, we had dozens of conversations - about watches, design, straps, movements, travel, overlanding setups, motorcycles and plans for future models.

The amount of positive feedback was truly encouraging. I heard many kind comments, but also valuable observations, constructive remarks - exactly the kind that help improve the product further.

Direct contact has huge value. It breaks the anonymity of the internet and reminds you that behind every order, comment or message, there is a real person. For the founder of a microbrand, these are the moments that bring fresh wind into the sails.

The next model - first reactions

One of the most interesting parts of the event was the chance to talk about the visualisations of the next planned model: Nadir Segla.

I cannot show everything yet (I will share the renders soon:)), but I can say one thing: the prototypes are on the way, and after Aurochronos, I have even more energy to bring this project to life.

What was especially interesting was how evenly the favourite render versions were distributed. There was no clear winner, and that honestly makes me proud. It suggests that the collection offers different directions that can resonate with different personal tastes, without one obvious choice dominating the rest.

Thank you for every visit

A sincere thank you to every person who visited the Nadir Watches stand. Thank you for the conversations, handshakes, questions, suggestions, kind words and for taking the time to see the watches in person and try them on.

Thank you also to the Aurochronos organisers for creating an event that gives independent brands a real space to present themselves to the public. Separate thanks also go to the photographers, media teams and everyone involved in making the event happen.

In good company

It was also a real pleasure to meet other brands - both those directly next to us and those a few booths, cities or countries away.

Conversations with more experienced exhibitors are always valuable. You can exchange observations, compare experiences and see how many different paths can lead to the same goal: creating a watch that someone genuinely wants to wear.

Special thanks

A special thank you goes to my wife, who joined me at the booth throughout the weekend. She not only helped with the organisation, but also impressed visitors with her watch knowledge and calm approach during conversations.

See you at the next events

Aurochronos was the first event of this kind for Nadir Watches, but definitely not the last.

Next week, we will be at Uhrphoria in Gross-Zimmern, with more events planned later - including Bucharest and Prague.

After this weekend, one thing is clear: it is worth stepping off the internet. It is worth meeting in person. It is worth talking. See you at the next event.
