Nadir Vespera GMT Dark is Now Available

Nadir Vespera GMT Dark is Now Available

After many weeks of waiting, questions, reservations and even an attempted “kidnapping” of the demo watch at Aurochronos, I can finally say it:

Nadir Vespera GMT Dark is now available.

This version took a little longer than expected, but for a good reason. Dark was meant to be the most understated, technical and tool-driven version of the Vespera GMT line - and in the end, it became exactly that.

Thank you for the patience and support

First of all, thank you.

Thank you for every message, every question, every reservation and every person who asked when the Dark version would finally arrive. The interest in this model has been genuinely motivating, especially because it was delayed slightly longer than planned.

I also want to thank everyone who had a chance to see the Dark version in person during Aurochronos in Warsaw and Uhrphoria in Gross-Zimmern. The feedback around this version was extremely positive. Many of you pointed out exactly what I hoped this model would express - a more technical, understated and practical character, without losing the everyday usability of the Vespera GMT line.

The most discreet Vespera GMT so far

The Dark version keeps the same practical foundation as the rest of the Vespera GMT collection. Inside, it is powered by the **Miyota 9075 True GMT automatic movement** - a traveller GMT calibre with an independently adjustable local hour hand, designed for people who move between time zones, roads and places.

The watch keeps the familiar Vespera GMT proportions and specifications:

  • Miyota 9075 True GMT automatic movement
  • 42 mm case
  • 13.1 mm thickness
  • 47 mm lug-to-lug
  • 200 m water resistance
  • double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating
  • screw-down crown
  • BGW9 lume
  • numbered limited run

But what makes this version different is the fully black setup.

DLC-coated case and buckle

The Vespera GMT Dark comes with a **DLC-coated stainless steel case** and matching DLC-coated buckle.

DLC coating gives the surface more hardness than regular 316L stainless steel, while also changing the visual character of the watch. It adds a darker, more intriguing look, but without turning the watch into something loud or overly aggressive.

The original finishing of the case still comes through in a subtle way. The surface feels more technical, slightly matte and discreet - exactly the direction I wanted for this version.

Combined with the all-black strap setup, the result is the most reserved and tool-focused Vespera GMT so far.

Built for travel and daily wear

Vespera GMT Dark was designed as the kind of watch you can simply put on and stop thinking about.

It works with a motorcycle jacket, a backpack, a travel setup or a normal everyday outfit. It does not ask for attention, but it has enough detail to stay interesting when you look closer.

It is still a True GMT travel watch. It is still water resistant to 200 m. It still has strong lume, a sapphire crystal and a mechanical automatic movement. But visually, it takes the whole concept in a more technical and understated direction.

Extra FKM strap for the first pieces

As a small thank you for the early support, the first 10 Vespera GMT Dark watches purchased on a leather strap will include an additional black FKM rubber strap.

This gives you both options: the classic feel of leather and a more practical, sporty setup for travel, summer wear and everyday use.

Now available

The first pieces of the Vespera GMT Dark are now ready and available on the website.

Thank you again for your patience, support, reservations and all the positive feedback around this version.

For me, this is currently probably my favourite version of the Vespera GMT.
